I should also tell you that I had not been grocery shopping in over 3 weeks. (picking up bread and milk does not count as a grocery trip. :)
- I made out a menu of 20 meals (enough for a month , Sunday - Thursday...I do not cook on Friday or Saturday)
- Made out a grocery list of items needed for those 20 meals. I only wrote down what I needed to purchase. (I had several items in stock at home.)
- I also went though the sales paper and picked out any additional items I wanted to purchase with my coupons.
