Target Glitch

In today’s Tampa Tribune Business section there is an article about Target shortchanging coupon users.  This has been occurring since August.  Their store policy is not to reduce to credit.  So free is the best you can do.  So, if you are getting yogurt where you have to purchase 8 to get $1 off, they are applying that discount to the cost of one single yogurt which costs 39 cents and shorting you 61 cents.  They have been instructed to pay close attention to coupons until the problem is fixed.  If you have been shortchanged take your receipts to the store and they will be handled on a case by case basis.

At Walmart Gain dish soap is $0.97 with the P&G coupon from Sunday's insert it is free plus $0.03.  I could not find an online coupon.

How many newspapers do I get?

One of the most asked questions I get is, "How many newspapers to you get on Sunday?"

(4 St. Pete Times & 2 Tampa Tribunes)

How many can I use?

I went to Publix the other day and the cashier was a little concerned about the way I was using my Target coupons. I bought 4 of one item and was using a manufacture coupon and a Target coupon on each. Publix is getting a little more picky now, so the cashier read the wording on the Target coupon that says, "one Target coupon per item per transaction" and was going to hold my feet to the fire. She called the manager over and the manager decided to call Target and ask them how they would handle it......here is the answer...Target will allow up to 4 of the same item with a Target coupon for each in the same transaction.

Thank you Target! This is a time saver and a money saver. Especially on the Buy One Get One.
