Here's the math...

$2 a box  x 3 = $6 - $3 off in-store coupon = $3 - $1 off 3 boxes Man. Coupon = $2 / 3 = $0.67 each

Now that's a pretty good BARGAIN!                   

Shopping Trip week of 8/3/11

So this week was not one of the better shopping weeks but I had some coupons I really wanted to use up.

I bought $153.79 worth of groceries. I only spent $69.99. That means I saved $83.80. That is about a 60% savings.

That percentage is a little lower than normal, but anything above 50% is super great. So over all it was a success!

The groceries were bought at Wal-Mart with price matching sales from Publix.
